Qoya: I Am Love
Friday, February 8
5-6:30 p.m. followed by Potluck After Party
Studio B Evergreen

Love is not just something we give and receive; it is also an energy we connect to and experience. When we choose to live in the vibration of love, we no longer have to worry about being loved–we are love. Can you imagine what that feels like? Explore your relationship to being love at Qoya, Friday, February 8 at Studio B.

Qoya (qoya.love) is based on the idea that through movement, we remember our essence is wise, wild and free. We remember how to trust our body as our sacred guide, embody our soul, and live a life aligned with our truth by following our intuition. Wise, wild and free mirror the movement forms we practice: wise–the wisdom of yoga, wild–the creative expression in dance, and free–the freedom to enjoy our bodies through moving in our own way.

You don’t need any experience to participate. You don’t need an “in-shape” body, and you don’t need to know how to dance or practice yoga. There is simply no way to do Qoya wrong!

This class is open to all who want to support their feminine energy.

One of my very favorite things about Qoya is the amazing, open-hearted people it attracts. That’s why after each monthly Qoya class, I host a gathering allowing us to share conversation over food. This month it will be a “Galentine’s” Party–a time to celebrate the special women in our lives, including ourselves! Please join the fun, and bring a snack to share. I will provide wine as well as non-alcoholic drinks and dishes/utensils.

It is very helpful to me if you pre-register using the link below. Or, just shoot me an email to let me know you are coming. I can’t wait to be in community  with you on February 8!

Resilience and Rivers

The Covid vaccination has granted me some freedom, so I’m in Texas this week. On Easter Sunday morning, I found myself in one of my favorite “churches”–the woods of Hamilton Green Belt, near Austin. With her usual abundant grace, Nature preached the perfect sermon for me. The green leaves just beginning to peek out of trees that endured a paralyzing February storm showed me what rebirth looks like. So much died in that storm—plants, animals and people. The forest shows us how to be resilient, how even though separation can be painful, the gift of letting go is growth. I
