Join EPIC Life Walks and Remember Your Wings on Friday, October 26 to celebrate the Hunter Moon.
The Hunter Moon illuminates the generosity of the Earth. This moon invites us to reflect on this time of harvest and preparation. Nature sheds what is completed–its fruits, leaves, seeds–and gives of itself in abundance. Because the trees and grasses have let go of their cover, hunting is easy during this time. Animals give of themselves in a radical act of generosity. How does this radical generosity connect with our life right now? What are we ready to shed and say it is “complete”? What can this letting go illuminate and make room for? What abundance is being offered to us right now?
As the closest astronomical body to earth, the moon has a profound effect on us. It represents the feminine, emotional, creative and nurturing aspects of our lives. During full moon time, everything is amplified, providing an excellent opportunity to release what you no longer need in your life or an aspect of yourself that you have outgrown.
