A couple of weeks ago, some fish unexpectedly flowed into my life. I was filling a tiny human-made pond that nourishes some water plants in my greenhouse and saw an orange flash. Then two. Then three. Then four!
My brain said WTF? But my heart said magic! The best I can figure is that these beautiful creatures, along with a pure black one I spotted just a few days ago, traveled in as eggs attached to the water plants purchased earlier in the summer and have now hatched.
It reminds me that unexpected magic happens all the time but we have to be present enough to recognize it. We also have to be willing to ride the current of what is, resisting the urge to resist.
Today’s full moon in Pisces, the sign of the fish, encourages us to flow more and to embrace our dreamy, magical side. This full moon comes along with a partial lunar eclipse. Eclipses herald transformation and it is said a lunar eclipse concerns endings.
I rarely think of endings as magical, and in fact, they are where a lot of my resistance comes up. But what if there were another way to view them? What if I embraced the endings in my life as portals that flow me toward my next dream? What if I softened into the flow and experienced the next wave as an exhilarating ride toward something I desire instead of rigidly clutching my metaphorical surfboard?
If the little koi eggs had clung firmly to the plants and refused to embrace the transformation into fish, they would not be swimming so joyfully around my pond, away from predators and receiving all the care they need. Something to think about.
Full moons are an opportune time to release what is not serving and the lunar eclipse sort of doubles down on this invitation. I will be pulling oracle cards for guidance. If you would like me to pull a free card for you to interpret, respond to this email or text me. I now offer a mini-reading to help you interpret your card. Contact me if that resonates. I am also available for full intuitive readings, healings and spiritual mentoring. More info at RememberYourWings.com.
